This Privacy Policy explains how Conetca Technology Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the ShopBiz mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
ShopBiz is a billing and inventory application for small businesses. It stores your business data locally on your device and can optionally sync and back it up to secure cloud services.
a. Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication to create and secure your account.

We do not collect your precise location, and we do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or similar financial credentials.
We do not use your data for advertising, and the App does not display third-party ads.
Your business data is stored locally on your device first. When cloud sync or backup is enabled, your data is transmitted to and stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage) on our behalf.
All data transmitted between the App and our cloud services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
The App uses Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Firebase Storage) as data processors acting on our behalf. These services process data according to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or independent purposes. Data is transmitted only to the service providers listed above solely to operate the App, and may be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services.
You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time — see How to delete your ShopBiz account. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations. Data stored locally on your device can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App.
The App is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
