This Privacy Policy explains how Conetca Technology Private Limited ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the BIP – Business In Pocket mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
BIP is a billing, inventory, and accounting application for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). It is designed to work offline-first, storing your business data locally on your device and optionally syncing and backing it up to secure cloud services.
a. Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address through Firebase Authentication to create and secure your account.

c. Diagnostic and performance data. We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash reports, diagnostic logs, and a device installation identifier to help us detect, fix, and prevent technical problems and improve stability.
We do not collect your precise location, and we do not collect or store payment card numbers, bank account numbers, or similar financial credentials.
We do not use your data for advertising, and the App does not display third-party ads.
Your business data is stored locally on your device first. When cloud sync or backup is enabled, your data is transmitted to and stored on Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Storage) on our behalf.
All data transmitted between the App and our cloud services is encrypted in transit using industry-standard HTTPS/TLS. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. When you purchase a subscription, your payment details (card, UPI, or bank information) are entered directly into Razorpay's secure checkout and never reach our servers — we receive only a payment reference used to activate your subscription. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or independent purposes. Data is transmitted only to the service providers listed above solely to operate the App, and may be disclosed if required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services.
You may request deletion of your account and associated cloud data at any time by contacting us at contact@conetca.com — see How to delete your account for the steps. Data stored locally on your device can be removed by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App. We will process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to any legal record-keeping obligations.
The App is intended for use by businesses and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
